Kingfisher Police reports
The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following:
March 26 — Lt. Travis Gray took a report of sexual battery which allegedly took place at McDonald’s, 1600 S. Main Street.
March 28 — Lt. Travis Gray took a report of sexual battery which allegedly took place at the new hotel construction site, in the 1600 Block of S. Main Street.
March 26 — Credit card fraud. Officer Richard Sta-ton took a report from Kingara Kingara of Kingfisher, who advised that his credit card had been stolen. He told the officer that a total of $403.16 had been taken from him, and identified a suspect. Amounts charged included $23 at McDonald’s, $306 in cash from the ATM at Jacket Express, $39.24 at McDonald’s, $2.60 at McDonald’s, $20.60 at McDonald’s, $17.27 at Walmart, and $17.25 at Pizza Hut. Kingara and the officer confronted the suspect, who admitted to having used the card, and produced it. Kingara however, said he did not need it, as he had already turned it off. The card was retained by the officer as evidence.
April 1 — Stolen trailer. Lt. Travis Gray took a report from Steven Snow, 310 E. Broadway, concerning the theft of Snow’s trailer sometime between midnight March 30 and 8 a.m. this morning. Snow said the black, 5x10 Buck Dandy bumper-pull trailer with a folding ramp had been sitting next to the alley south of his shop.
April 3 — Protective order violation. Sgt. Justin Trumbley took a report from a woman who advised that she has a protective order against a subject who is currently in the Kingfisher County Jail, and he has violated the order by sending her messages from the jail.
