Kingfisher Rotary hosts 4 KHS seniors
Four Kingfisher High School seniors were guests recently at a meeting of the Kingfisher Rotary Club.
Joining the local civic group were Katelynn Brady, Logan Boeckman, Ariana Alvarez-Vega and Livia Varnell.
Brady is the daughter of Kennt and Jennifer Brady.
She’s a volunteer and donates blood at Our Blood Institute and has earned an associate’s degree in psychology.
Brady volunteers at animal shelters and the Oklahoma Humane Society and participates in community service projects.
She plans to attend Redlands Community College and pursue a degree in cybersecurity.
Boeckman is the son of Phyllis Kuehn and Frank Kuehn.
He’s a volunteer for the blood drive at the high school.
His hobbies include boxing, motorcycles, fishing, guns, hunting and welding.
Boeckman plans to pursue a career as a welder at Nortek Air Solutions.
Alvarez-Vega is the daughter of Sugeyu (Suhaley) Alvarez.
She’s active in FFA, is a member of the National Honor Society and is involved in community service projects.
Alvarez-Vega plans to attend the University of Central Oklahoma and major in criminal justice.
Varnell is the daughter of Randall and Tara Varnell.
She’s a member of the National Honor Society and has earned awards in academics and band.
Varnell is also involved in Kingfisher Public Schools STARS after-school program.
She plans to pursue a career in real estate or social work.
