Several members of Kingfisher’s junior high and high school bands were recently named to the Red Carpet Honor Band.

This year’s auditions were held virtually as teachers recorded their students and then submitted the recordings.

High school band members earning the honor include: Syra Littlehawk, Bb clarinet; Katy Diedrich, flute; Kaden Miller, snare; and Zoe Yandell, tuba.

Eighth grade band members selected were: Adah Anderman, alto saxophone; Colton Livingston and Keira Laudwig, Bb clarinet; Angela Munoz, cornet/ trumpet; KC Ortega, Emily Altizer and Aryne Bollen-bach, flute; and Alezandro Cuellar, trombone.

The seventh graders cho-sen were: Jozie Loewen, alto sax; Gracie Fuksa and Emily Thomas, Bb clarinet; David Owens, cornet/trumpet; Brayden Turner and Livia Varnell, flute; Sara Jenkins-Farris, French horn; and Noah Sauer, snare.
