March 18 - Obtain money/property with false negotiable paper.

Captain Travis Gray received a report of fraudulent checks written at two Kingfisher businesses on the bank account of Sergio Bird.

Bird reportedly stated fraudulent checks on his bank account were used to make purchases at City Cafe and Walmart for a total amount of $726.96.

According to the report, Gray contacted the businesses and Walmart provided surveillance footage of a 20-year-old male suspect making the transaction as well as his driver’s license identification number.

Bird reportedly stated another fraudulent check had been written at Hutch’s in Watonga and he provided Gray with the contact information to obtain surveillance video of that incident.

According to the report, Gray also obtained photos of the suspect from Blaine and Garfield County law enforcement.
