The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:

November 25 - Uttering forged instruments.

Officer Aubrey Massey responded to a report of fraud at Interbank, 1209 S. Main St.

According to the report, a male suspect cashed a fraudulent check for $2,252.55.

Officers were informed the suspect also attempted to cash a check at the El Reno branch and other cases involving the suspect were being investigated by the Attorney General’s offi ce, the report said.

A bank representative provided surveillance footage and photographs to officers.

Sergeant Justin Conner assisted with the investigation.

November 25 - Receive cash/property with stolen credit card and abuse/ financial exploitation by caretaker.

Sergeant Aaron Schlegel was dispatched to First Shamrock Care Center, 1415 S. Main St., in regards to a theft.

According to the report, a 28-year-old male employee stole a resident’s debit card and made unauthorized purchases.

Schlegel made contact with the suspect and a 20-year-old female who had knowledge of the unauthorized purchases, the report said.

Schlegel said in his report that he would be issuing a warrant for arrest of the male suspect for financial exploitation by caretaker and obtaining cash or merchandise by fraud and a warrant for the female suspect for obtaining cash or merchandise by fraud.

December 8 - Complaint/ possible stalking.

Officer Aubrey Massey responded to a report of possible stalking at Walmart, 200 W. Starlite Drive.
