KPD reports
The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:
September 24 - Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Officer Charles Trout responded to a report of an individual leaving the scene of an accident at Jacket Laundry, 1303 S. Main St.
According to the report, Trout located the individual, who was inspecting his vehicle for damage in the United parking lot.
Trout stated in his report that he questioned the 36-year-old male suspect regarding the incident and observed the driver exhibited signs of intoxication. After performing field sobriety tests on the individual, Trout placed the individual under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence, the report said.
The suspect was transported to the county jail and then taken to Mercy Hospital Kingfisher to be medically cleared for incarceration, according to the report.
The individual received medical clearance a short time later and was transported to the county jail by Officer Briston Lowry.
Officers Aaron Schlegel, Jason East and Dillon Chaloupek assisted with the investigation.
September 26 - Domestic abuse assault and battery. Officer Dillon Chaloupek responded to a report of a possible assault in the 600 block of West Bowman Avenue.
September 28 - Possession of dangerous drugs prohibited-marijuana, unlawful possession of paraphernalia, contributing to the delinquency of minors and public intoxication.
Officers Jason East and Charles Trout responded to a report of individuals riding dirt bikes in the area of North Second Street and Baker Avenue.
East said in his report there was a group of individuals in the area, including minors, and two bottles of liquor were plainly visible, as well as an odor of marijuana.
According to the report, officers questioned the individuals regarding the liquor and an 18-year-old male and 25-year-old male admitted to drinking liquor. A smoking pipe with green leafy substance, which field tested positive for marijuana, was also seized from the 18-year-old male, the report said.
Officer Trout contacted the juveniles’ parent and the minors were released into their parents’ custody, according to the report.
Both suspects were arrested and charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Additional charges against the 18-year-old included possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. The 25-year-old was also charged with public intoxication.
Officers photographed and seized the two bottles of liquor and the smoking pipe as evidence, the report said.

September 29 - Public intoxication. Officer Charles Trout responded to a possible domestic altercation in the area of North Second Street and Sykes Avenue.
According to the report, Trout witnessed a male subject standing in the street while yelling obscenities at another man.
Trout stated in his report that the 43-year-old male subject exhibited signs of intoxication and was initially uncooperative to his commands.
Trout placed the suspect under arrest for public intoxication and transported him to the county jail.
September 29 - Burglary of vehicle. Officer Charles Trout responded to a report of theft in the 600 block of North First Street.
Ryan McAdams reportedly stated a CD player was missing from his vehicle at his residence.
Trout stated in his report that he informed McAdams he would enter the information for the CD player into the National Crime Information Center if McAdams could provide the serial number.
