Kingfisher Board of Education’s agenda for its October regular meeting is a brief one, but it won’t be the only one this week.

The board will meet at 7 p.m. Monday.

Among the action items is setting all the meeting dates and times for the board’s 2020 meetings.

Members are also expected to approve hiring two special education paraprofessionals and an assistant coach for slowpitch softball.

There are also two fund-raisers set to be approved: Music program DVDs for Gilmour students and t-shirt sales for high school cheerleaders.

Superintendent Jason Sternberger will also update the board on the progress of the new girls athletic complex, grounds and maintenance and the planned special board meeting to open bond bids.

That meeting will be at noon Thursday as the bids for the first series of bonds approved at last month’s election will be opened.
