Kingfisher Junior High and Kingfisher High School students auditioned for the honor choir on Sept. 24.

Students who were selected then took part in the festival, which concluded with performances by the junior high and high school honor choirs.

Students who participated were: seventh grader McKenzy Wilson; eighth graders Hannah Johnson, Evelyn Martin, Valeria Rodriguez and Brailyn Schroeder; freshman Jackson Garrett; sophomore Gisselle Ponce; and seniors Ethan McLean and T.J. Washington.

McLean and Washington were also presented medals for making and participating in the honor choir three years in a row.

There were 35 high schools and 31 junior high schools represented in the honor choir.

There were 127 junior high members and 166 high school members.

Junior high students worked with accompanist Jerri Headrick and Clinician Suzanne Aylor (retired Mid-Del Schools).

The high school students worked with accompanist Dr. Eduardo Moriera (Northwestern Oklahoma State University) and Clinician Dr. Jim Graves (Southern Nazarene University).
