A local artist is planning an open house at her gallery that will include discounts on some prints just in time for the holidays.

The Kathryn Leitner Western Art Christmas Open House is scheduled Sunday, Dec. 8.

It will be held from 1-5 p.m. at 11809 E. 790 Road, which is west of Kingfi sher on Airport Road.

The open house will include originals, framed and unframed prints and notecards for sale.

Leitner will be offering 20 percent off unframed prints during the open house only. Reduced shipping will also be offered through Dec. 15.

Leitner’s work was featured earlier this year at Artster Oklahoma, which was both a book and an exhibit.

The exhibit was on display through May 19 at the Oklahoma Hall of Fame. It included Leitner’s piece “Jenna and Sorrely…Pullin’ Their Weight.”

Cider and cookies will be provided during the event.
