The annual Lenten Community Service series sponsored by the Kingfisher Ministerial Alliance begins Wednesday, March 6, at the Kingfisher Church of the Nazarene. The services, held from noon to 1 p.m. each Wednesday through April 10, are followed by free lunches. The series ends with a 6:30 p.m. service April 17, followed by a dessert fellowship. Local pastors speaking at each of the services include: March 6 – Scott Watkins. March 13 – Patrick McPherson. March 20 – Debbie Burpo March 27 – Jeff Liles. April 3 – Russ Brown. April 10 – Wendell Prim. Walker Moore will be the April 17 speaker.
