Weather permitting, construction work on S.H. 33 from Main Street to Sixth Street will be wrapped up this week, according to the Oklahoma Department of Transportation.

The last phase of the project, resurfacing from Sixth Street east to Second Street, is expected to begin Oct. 12, which will require closing the underpass and detouring traffic.

New concrete was expected to be poured on the westbound lane from Main Street to Sixth Street either Friday or Monday, with construction joints sealed on Wednesday.
