Brandon Chapman of El Reno has joined the Kingfisher Police Department as patrolman.

A graduate of the Redland Community Collegiate Officers training program at El Reno, where he earned a criminal justice degree, Chapman then passed the CLEET test.

He began working with the El Reno Police Department in its marshal program.

Kingfisher Police Chief David Catron said that Chapman began work in Kingfisher last Thursday.

Chapman’s hiring brought the department to its full complement, Catron said.

A native of Mustang, Chapman is married to Samantha, a native of Union City.

They have two sons, Easton, 6, and Elijah, 1.

Chapman’s favorite hobby is hiking, a pastime in which his older son is already an enthusiastic companion.
