The 2019 National Day of Prayer is Thursday, May 2, and multiple events are planned this week to observe.

The different events are designed for men, women and the area youth.

The theme this year is “Love One Another.”

There will be a men’s dinner at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, at the First Baptist Church in Kingfisher.

Local women are invited to gather for a luncheon at noon Thursday, May 2, also at First Baptist Church.

There will be a service for area youth at 6 p.m. Sunday, May 5, at Kingfisher’s Church of the Nazarene.

All events are free and open to the public.
