MUSEUM ICE CREAM SOCIAL
Chisholm Trail Museum’s second annual ice cream social can be deemed a success. More than 71 people attended the event at Gov. Seay Mansion last Saturday. It hosted 45 people a year ago. “We started the event last year as a way to engage with the community,” said museum director Jason Harris. “It serves as an opportunity for people to gather at the mansion in an informal setting.” Pictured is Jim Garling entertaining the crowd, and Rebecca Harris showing off her container of ice cream.
