MYSTERY READER - Kingfisher Times & Free Press Managing Editor Michael Swisher was a “Mystery Reader” last Wednesday in Priya Humphries’ second grade classroom at Hennessey Elementary. Swisher read “The Paperboy” to the class and then answered questions. Swisher talked about the different aspects of his job from watching games to interviews to writing. He brought copies of recent newspapers for the class to keep. He also showed the class a video interview he conducted with Hennessey basketball players Hugo Rodriguez and Angel Rodriguez during the 2018-19 basketball season. Hugo was a senior during that season and currently works with Hennessey youth, including some members of the class. Angel is now a senior and he and HHS boys coach Brady Page briefly joined Swisher to talk with the class.
