Ryan Gibson is Kingfisher Police Department’s newest patrol officer.

A 2011 graduate of Luther High School and CLEET (Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training) certified, Gibson brings with him several years of experience in law enforcement.

He worked as a patrol officer in both the Oklahoma City and Watonga police departments before joining the KPD staff.

A Hitchcock resident, Gibson is engaged to Bradi Schenk of Watonga, a labor and delivery nurse, and they are planning a May wedding.

Gibson will be paired with a senior KPD offi cer for a month-long fi eld training before starting work on the night shift.

“I’m excited to be working in Kingfisher,” he said. “This is a really nice, growing community.”
