OCPA starts own journalism center
Are you frustrated with the “mainstream” media?
You’re not alone.
That’s why OCPA started its own journalism center, to bring important, relevant news to you.
It’s time to stop pretending that “mainstream” news sites are unbiased and objective. OCPA is bringing news to you that is informed by a worldview shared by most Oklahomans.
That means we cover many stories that are actually important—and otherwise ignored.
There is no way our country can survive if all the news is one-sided.
We must have access to news stories informed by a wider range of viewpoints.
OCPA broke stories that The Oklahoman and The Tulsa World ignored or missed - such as a school spending six figures on lobbyists instead of teachers, and casinos willing to pay higher gambling exclusivity fees to Arkansas than they do to Oklahoma.
So what kind of impact are we having?
OCPA’s web site has had more than 1 MILLION page views this year.
As I write this, in fact, the number has reached 1,300,046 in 2020.
This is having a huge impact on how educated Oklahomans are about important issues.
As you consider what is important this year and for the future of our state and country, I hope you will include OCPA’s reporting service and news on your list.
Will you invest in OCPA a year-end gift of $50, $100, $1,000, or whatever you can afford, in order for us to bring you relevant news that reflects your worldview? You can donate by using the address below:
