Okarche High School has announced the Students of the Month for November and December 2019. Students of the Month demonstrate good character, best effort, and kindness. This award is designed to nominate and select students who promote and take pride in Okarche Public School and in themselves. The November honorees were Kera Avilez (eighth grade) and McKenzie Stewart (10th). Chosen as December Students of the Month were Kylie Bailey (ninth) and Payton Kerby (10th).

The school has also selected the November and December Lions and Lionesses. These students are selected from the junior and senior classes. Qualities considered for selection include scholarship, good character, responsibility, and good citizenship, among others. The November Lion and Lioness were Tyler Schwarz and Rachel McDowell.
