Okarche Elementary 4th graders visit state Capitol

Okarche’s fourth grade class visited the state Capitol on April 24. Among the stops was a visit with House Majority Leader Mike Sanders, R-Kingfisher. “I really enjoyed visiting with these amazing young students,” Sanders said. “They had great questions and they come every year wearing the Warrior purple shirts and I love that.” Students in Mrs. Ford’s class who visited were: Brady Alig, Victoria Alig, Henry Austin, Jaci Black, Kennedy Blackwood, Garrett England, Jimmy Fuerte, Sam Henderson, Kade Henrichs, Ryan Mayo, Tucker McLane, Caden Nease, Katie Parham, Daisy Rosmus-Bishop, McKenna Salder, Gabe Vogt and Presley Wittrock. Students from Mrs. Henderson’s class were: Emma Alig, Grant Alig, Kysen Avila, Abbie Endres, Bella Hufnagel, Sara Jacobs, Kayla Kremeier, Samantha Powers, Julia Rayburn, Ricco Renteria, Carter Robinson, Jett Rother, Asher Schieber, Holden Schieber, Cody Stoner, Grady Terrell, Christopher Uscanda and Tyger Stuteville.
