The Ombudsman Program at the Long Term Care Authority of Enid, Area Agency on Aging is holding an Ombudsman Volunteer Training on Thursday and Friday, May 16 and 17, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Volunteers are needed for the Ombudsman Program in Garfield County as well as Kingfisher, Blaine, Major, Alfalfa, Grant, Kay and Noble counties.

Ombudsman volunteers advocate for residents in Long Term Care Facilities.

Interested individuals are asked to visit residents for only two hours weekly and attend a monthly volunteer meeting.
