Kingfisher County HCE sponsored a paint day workshop for the members of the community on May 9.

Classes were held at noon and 5:30 p.m.

Lindy Hoel, the FCS educator was the instructor of the class and guided the group on how to paint a picture on a canvas.

The picture was a flower with a mom and child ladybug sitting on a vine shaped like a heart.

“The design was perfect to create for Mother’s Day,” Hoel said. “The class enjoyed putting their own styles into the painting and learning how to create the picture.”

There were 10 participants at the noon workshop and seven participants at the evening one.

Each participant took home their painting.

This workshop was designed to celebrate OHCE Week and to attract members of the community that are not already Kingfisher County HCE members, Hoel said.
