Peck, Lowe co-host most recent Study Club meeting
Kingfisher Study Club met March 4 in the home of Terri Peck with Clairetta Lowe as co-hostess.
President Melda Fischer opened the meeting by reading “A Very Special Bank Account.”
Thirteen members answered the roll call. Minutes were read and the treasurer’s report given and approved.
The nominating committee reported the current officers were willing to serve another year. Carlene Gooden made a motion to accept the report. Connie Boeckman seconded and the motion passed.
Fischer announced the Senior Girls Tea will be held at the First Christian Church and reviewed committee assignments.
Members M-Z and others are to bring cookies to the 9:30 business meeting April 1 in the Christian Church Fellowship Hall.
Following the business meeting, members will complete preparations for the tea.
Peck introduced Chad Kliewer, information security officer for Pioneer Telephone.
He presented a program regarding online safety using the internet, the importance of secure passwords and tips on choosing and changing passwords.
The meeting closed with the Club Women’s Collect.
