Pennington, Baca exchange wedding vows in July ceremony in Kingfisher
Kaci Pennington of Kingfisher and Briley Baca of Clinton were united in marriage Saturday, July 6, 2019, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Kingfisher.
The Revs. Francis Nguyen and Rex Arnold and Deacon Terry Rice officiated the 3 p.m. ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Ron and Janet Pennington of Kingfisher and Bryan and Leadell Baca of Clinton.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a long, ivory, v-neck gown of Alençon lace appliqués with a wide scalloped lace hemline and train and a cathedral length veil.
Her bouquet consisted of Keira garden roses, white peonies, seeded and silver dollar eucalyptus.
Daniele McNair of Kingfisher served as the bride’s maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Tayler Hartman of Clinton, the sister of the groom, and Haley Pickle of Cashion and Alissa Deaver of Wichita, Kan., both cousins of the bride.
Eva Mueggenborg, daughter of Tanner and Carrie Mueggenborg of Kingfisher, was the flower girl.
Matt Hartman of Clinton served as the best man. Groomsmen were Colter Baca of Edmond and Bowman Vowell of Yukon, both cousins of the groom, and Jeffrey Pennington of Wichita, Kan., brother of the bride.
Timber Hartman, son of Matt and Tayler Hartman of Clinton, was the ring bearer.
Shayne Thornton, Logan Moser and Bryce Wolters served as ushers.
Diane Grellner was the organist and Mary Nell Brueggen the vocalist during the ceremony.
Special guests included the bride’s grandfather, James Mueggenborg of Kingfisher, and the groom’s grandparents Albert and Charleen Peck and Vi Drassen, all of Clinton.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Kingfisher County Fairgrounds Exhibit Building.
Prior to the ceremony, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner Friday, July 5, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
Following a wedding trip to South Fork, Colo., the couple established a home in Hydro.
