The Catholic Foundation of Oklahoma has awarded college scholarships to young men and women throughout the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City every year since 1965. From its beginnings of two $500 scholarships, the Catholic Foundation this year will award more than $100,000 to 77 students. The scholarships are awarded from the endowed funds that were specifically established for college scholarships. The foundation recently announced Macy Pickle of Cashion has been awarded the Mary White Clark Scholarship. It was presented to Pickle, right, by Father Francis Nguyen, parish priest for Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Kingfisher. Pickle is enrolled at Rose State College.
