Plainview HCE met at 1:30 p.m. Monday, July 8, at Debbie Winters’ home. Dana Golbek, president, brought the meeting to order. Members recited pledges to American and Oklahoma flags, followed by the devotion. Roll call was taken with nine members present and the minutes of the previous meeting were read. Teri Peck gave the treasurer’s report with no additions having been made on financial status. Members discussed making new Christmas decorations for Chisholm Trail Museum and the date for the upcoming Kingfisher County Free Fair. Diane Musick was nominated as the club’s communication person. Winters and members talked about inexpensive dollar store items they buy for gifts, decorating and cleaning products for home. The meeting adjourned and refreshments of homemade ice cream and toppings were served by the hostess. The next meeting will be at the home of Beth Evans on Aug. 12.
