Police investigate recent incidents

The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:

March 30 - Malicious injury/destruction of property. Officer Dillon Chaloupek was dispatched to a residence in the 200 block of South Sixth Street in regard to property damage.

Benny Cantellay reportedly stated his shop building had been damaged by rocks cast from a neighbor’s mower. Cantellay contacted his neighbor regarding the incident, but without resolution, according to the report.

April 1 - Grand larceny. Officer Dillon Chaloupek responded to a report of theft in the 300 block of North Second Street.

According to the report, Dianna Bell and Jody Pirtle told Chaloupek a catalytic converter was missing from a 2005 Ford Ranger on their property’.

Bell reportedly stated the vehicle had not been started in two months and gave Chaloupek a possible suspect’s identity.

Chaloupek contacted the individual regarding the incident, the report said.

The reported value of the catalytic converter was $650.
