The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:

October 6 - Larceny from the house. Officer Charles Trout responded to a report of theft in the 700 block of South Third Street.

Christy Dailey reportedly stated a Bible containing jewelry was missing from her residence and she suspected a known individual had taken it.

According to the report, Dailey said the Bible had a locking mechanism and contained her grandparents’ wedding rings as well as other jewelry.

Dailey provided identification of the suspect as well as an SD card, according to the report.

Trout requested that Dailey provide pictures of the rings if possible, the report said.

The reported value of the missing items was $100.

October 14 - Injury child/elderly/disabled reckless bodily injury. Officer Dillon Chaloupek received a report of improper care of a resident at Cimarron Nursing Center.

Cimarron Nursing Center representative Paul Gilbert reportedly stated an 87-year-old female resident had sustained a broken leg, possibly due to improper care from a nurse’s aide.

According to the report, the resident received treatment for her injury and was discharged the same day from the emergency department of Mercy Hospital Kingfisher.

The resident died the following day, the report said.

Officer Travis Gray contacted the Medical Examiner’s office regarding the individual’s death, according to the report.

Chaloupek stated in his report that he interviewed multiple co-workers of the suspect and received their statements. He also spoke with the suspect over the phone regarding the incident and requested an in-person interview, but the suspect refused, according to the report.

October 19 - Conspiracy and obstructing officer. Officer Charles Trout took a report from a 41-yearold female in reference to a previous incident of theft of a grill and trailer.

According to the report, Trout interviewed multiple individuals Oct. 8-19 concerning the new information about the theft.

Trout filed conspiracy and obstructing an officer charges on the female who reported the new information, as well as on a 27-yearold male, the report said.

October 20 - Domestic assault and battery/ abuse. Officer Ryan Gibson responded to a report of a domestic altercation in the 100 block of South Fifth Street.
