Pool-Zachgo families hold 37th reunion
Forty-four members of the Pool-Zachgo families gathered Sunday, Oct. 13, at the Crescent Community Center for their 37th annual reunion.
Traveling the longest distance was Gary Zachgo of Irving, Texas.
The oldest member attending was Thelma Hans-ens, 97, of Kingfisher.
The youngest was Ezekiel Lynch, 2-year-old son of Xena Brock of Crescent.
There were four deaths in the family since the last reunion: Keith Barnum, Karen Barnum, Josephine Brock and Christina Zach-go.
The invocation was given by Merle Brock followed by a covered dish luncheon.
The afternoon was spent visiting, taking pictures and looking through picture albums that included a sampling of reunion pictures and write-ups from the first reunion held in 1983, to the present.
Eighty-one members attended the first reunion.
Those attending this year were: Thelma Hansens, Alfred and Nancy Teders, Brian, Sharon, Matthew and Samuel Miller, Linda Hill, Taylor Mills, Jason, Melissa, Jeremiah and Lillie Hill, Christi and Emily Lewis and Kristen Brock of Kingfisher; Breanna Bay of Watonga; Eddie Brock, Victoria Brock, Michael Gutfleish, Leland Brock, Largus Brock, Mekayla Brock, Laylonie Barnett, Xena Brock, Ezekiel Lynch, Brandon Demuth and Richard Brock, all of Crescent.
Also, Betty Barnum, Shad, Sheri and Melody Hartley, Marshall and Sandi Brock, Hazel and Harizon Ellis, and Bonnie Monarch of Oklahoma City; Leroy and Jacque Zachgo of Guthrie; Merle and Patti Brock of Broken Arrow; Ron and Allison Pool of Tulsa; and Gary Zachgo of Irving, Texas.
The next reunion will be Sunday, Oct. 11, 2020.
