PRIDE OF CASHION MEMBERS QUALIFY FOR STATE OSSAA COMPETITION

Twelve members of the Pride of Cashion band qualified for this week’s state solos and ensembles competition hosted by the OSSAA at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater. Members of the Pride who qualified after their performances last month at the district competition at Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva were, from left: front row, Ashlynn Hudson, Kaitlin Jolliff, Summer Yost, Harley Henry and Kylee Anderson; and back row, Kyle Farrow, Abe Ross, Harrison Buck, Austin Ogletree, Connor McCabe and Jimmy Miller. Alicia McCarty is not pictured. The state contest is April 16-18. Cashion will perform Wednesday, April 17. To qualify for state, a soloist or ensembles must earn a “Superior” (or a “1”) rating at the district competition.
