Thunderstorms Monday evening left only .05 inch rain in Kingfisher.

Local Weather Observer Steve Loftis reported that amount at the National Weather Service station in Kingfisher and the Mesonet site on the Mueggenborg farm west of Kingfisher concurred. Other points in Northwest Oklahoma received much more, including Watonga 35 miles west of Kingfisher, which received a 2.97 inch soaking.

Other Mesonet rain reports included: Marshall .03 inch, El Reno .18 inch, Fairview 1.99 inch, Lahoma 1.04 inch, Blackwell .88 inch, Medford 1.42 inches, Cherokee 2.08 inches, Alva 1.14 inches, Seiling 1.06 inches, Weatherford 1.07 inches, Elk City .4 inch, Hobart 2.04 inches, Mangum 1.08 inches, Goodwell 1.26 inches and Kenton in the far west end of the Panhandle .01 inch.
