Recent Kingfisher PD reports
The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:
October 27 - DUI-liquor or drugs/APCV aggravated, speeding-posted zone, failure to stop at stop sign and bribing/ attempting to bribe an officer.
Officer Michael Farrar said in his report that he observed a northbound vehicle on South 13th Street traveling at a high rate of speed and initiated a traffic stop.
According to the report, the vehicle was traveling in excess of 70 miles per hour and also failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of West Will Rogers and 13th Street.
Farrar said in his report that the 52-year-old male driver appeared to exhibit signs of intoxication and refused to perform field sobriety tests.
The suspect was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence.
According to the report, a breath alcohol test result showed “almost three times the legal limit” and the suspect was transported to Mercy Hospital Kingfisher for evaluation and released for incarceration.
Farrar also said in his report, during transport, the suspect “offered to remodel my kitchen if I were to let him go” and confirmed he was attempting to bribe the officer.
The suspect was transported to the Kingfisher County Criminal Justice Center and charged with speeding, failure to stop at a stop sign, aggravated DUI and attempting to bribe an officer.
Officer Kyle Svoboda and Kingfisher County Sheriff’s deputies Christopher McDaniel and Victor Diaz assisted with the investigation.
October 30 - Larceny from building.
Sergeant Aaron Schlegel responded to a report of theft at Empire Finance, 108 W. Will Rogers Drive.
According to the report, a female individual said she dropped off a donation to an employee at Empire Finance and accidentally left her purse there as well.
The reporting party stated $150 was missing when she returned a short time later and retrieved her purse, the report said.
Schlegel said in his report that he made contact with the two female employees who were present at the time of the theft and obtained surveillance footage.
Based on the information acquired, Schlegel said he would be requesting a warrant for arrest for petit larceny for the 31-year-old female suspect.
November 2 - Assault and/or battery with deadly weapon.
Officer Michael Farrar responded to a report of a disturbance in the area of 800 South Third Street, where an individual was struck by a vehicle.
Farrar said in his report that he observed a vehicle attempting to leave the scene and blocked its route, then made contact with the 32-year-old female suspect.
A 38-year-old male was observed lying in the street with visible injuries, the report said.
According to the report, the female suspect’s vehicle accelerated in an attempt to drive away while the male reached into the car to retrieve a phone “causing (the male) to fall to the ground and thus causing his injuries.”
Kingfisher EMS arrived on the scene and transported the male to Mercy Hospital Kingfisher.
Officers also took reports from both parties regarding a domestic altercation that took place between them earlier in the day and photographs were taken of the female’s alleged injuries, the report said.
November 4 - Warrant.
Officer Aubrey Massey responded to a reported domestic dispute in the 800 block of West Kens Road.
According to the report, a 41-year-old male suspect was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Kansas.
Sergeant Justin Conner and Sergeant Aaron Schlegel assisted with the investigation.
November 12 - Tampering with utilities.
Officer Aubrey Massey responded to a report of utility theft in the 500 block of North Fourth Street.
According to the report, electric utilities and water utilities had been disconnected to the residence in May 2025 and were later tampered with, so that electricity and water services were being still being used without the city’s knowledge.
The total reported value of the stolen utility services, including electricity, water, sewer and trash, was $4,047.82.
November 14 - Larceny of merchandise from retailer.
Lieutenant Justin Trumbley responded to a report of theft at Atwoods, 1213 S. Main St.
According to the report, a 32-year-old male suspect exited the store with an unpurchased pair of Twisted X boots.
Store employees confronted the suspect in the parking lot and reported that he threw them out of his vehicle window and fled the scene, the report said.
Officers located the suspect and made contact with him, according to the report. The reported value of the stolen boots was $219.95.

November 17 - Identity theft.
Lieutenant Justin Trumbley took a report of identity theft in the 1300 block of South Seventh Street.
November 29 - Preventing 911 call and domestic abuse by strangulation.
Officer Steven Renbarger responded to a report of a domestic altercation in the 500 block of South Seventh Street.
Officer Michael Farrar and Sheriff’s Deputies Jeremy Conner and Wesley Johnston assisted with the investigation.
