Recent reports to Kingfisher Police Department

The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:

Feb. 26 - Driving with license canceled/suspended/revoked.

Officer Justin Conner said in his report that he was on patrol in the vicinity of West Fay Avenue and South 13th Street and witnessed a vehicle stopped at the intersection.

After observing the vehicle had an inoperable brake light, Conner initiated a traffic stop, the report said.

The 41-year-old male driver reportedly stated he did not have a valid driver’s license and the officer confirmed with dispatch that it had been revoked.

Conner issued a citation to the driver for driving with a revoked license and transported him to his destination.

March 9 - Domestic assault and battery/abuse. Officer Dustin Brodrick responded to a report of a domestic altercation in the 1500 block of South Seventh Street.

March 10 - Malicious injury to property-over $1,000 and burglary-second degree.

Officer Dillon Chaloupek responded to a report of burglary and vandalism in the 100 block of North Fifth Street.

Phillip Hudson reportedly stated that a residence on North Fifth Street had been burglarized and vandalized recently.

According to the report, a bicycle, hoverboard, tool box and tools, and two TVs had been taken from the home. Flooring, windows and two doors had also been damaged, the report said.

The total reported value of the missing items was $851 and damage was estimated at $1,001, according to the report.
