Registration is still open for the Distinguished Young Women of Kingfisher County program.

This year’s program is Saturday, Nov. 9, but there are several weeks of meetings and practices leading up to the event.

The deadline to sign up is Sunday, Sept. 29, which is also the day of the first practice.

The program is open to 2021 graduates and offers cash scholarships.

Participants will be judged in a variety of categories including scholastic, interview, fitness, talent, self expression and “Be Your Best Self.”

There will be an information meeting at 1 p.m Sunday, Sept. 22, at Kingfisher Memorial Library, 505 W. Will Rogers.

The first practice is 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29, at Curtain Time Dance Studio, 119 E. Miles in Kingfisher.
