District 3 County Commissioner Heath Dobrovolny announced Monday the detour route for motorists traveling on the Calumet Blacktop, a section of which is being repaired.

The first two miles of the road south of S.H. 33 are undergoing repair work. To avoid the work area motorists traveling north on Calumet Blacktop can take EW 840 Road west to NS 2710 Road and follow it to S.H. 33 and south-bound motorists can go south from S.H. 33 on NS 2710 to EW 840, then go east to the Calumet Blacktop and proceed south from there.

The bridge over Kingfisher Creek is closed for maintenance and the highway surface is receiving concrete repairs.

The repair project is expected to take several weeks to complete.
