Kingfisher High School seniors Tyler Roman and Joseline Rivera have been named the May 2021 Junior Lions by the Kingfisher Lions Club.

Rivera is the daughter of Noah and Fatima Rivera.

She’s active in Student Council, is a co-founder of the Eco Club, serves as the Spanish Club president and is editor of the KHS yearbook.

Rivera is also a manager for wrestling and basketball.

She’s a member of the National Honor Society, National Society of High School Scholars, and is a class valedictorian.

Rivera plans to attend the University of Oklahoma and major in international business and management information systems.

Roman is the son of Tamberla and Reinaldo Roman.

He’s a member of Drama Club, History Club, the KHS band, academic team and is the Eco Club co-founder.

He’s on the superintendent’s honor roll and part of the Oklahoma Honor Society and National Honor Society.

Roman is a senior class officer and the NHS vice president.

He also plans to attend OU and major in management information systems and minor in computer science.
