Rock Island Train is on the Move Again
OVERSIZE LOAD - A Kingfisher landmark of sorts, the Rock Island rail caboose that has sat between the old U.S. Post Office building and Interbank for decades, has been removed. Wellco removed the rail car on Monday afternoon and set it off on its new location. The rail car was purchased by a private citizen, who has big plans for it. To find out more about the caboose’s future, stay tuned for future editions of the Times & Free Press. [KT&FP Staff Photo by Twila Adams]
