Rotary Club hosts 4 KHS seniors

Four Kingfisher High School seniors joined the Kingfisher Rotary Club last Tuesday at the civic group’s weekly luncheon.

The guests were Tanner Thompson, Rickey Smith, Reese Hart and Matthew Palmer.

Thompson is the son of Diane and Corey Thompson.

He has been listed on the superintendent’s and principal’s honor rolls and was active in football. He also takes computer networking and repair classes at Chisholm Trail Technology Center.

He plans to attend Southwestern Oklahoma State University and pursue a career in computer engineering.

Smith is the son of Rickey Smith and Maria Smith.

He’s also taking computer repair and networking classes.

After high school, Smith wants to move to Texas, tour colleges there and eventually pursue a career in marketing.

Hart is the son of Mick and Tina Hart.

He was active in football and also takes computer repair and networking classes.

Hart plans to join the National Guard after high school.

Palmer is the son of Jeff and Kristyl Palmer.

He’s a member of the National Honor Society, FCCLA and Mercy Student Careers Council.

He was an Oklahoma Boys State delegate and a captain on the KHS football team in 2019.

Palmer plans to attend college and pursue a career in the medical field.
