Rotary Club hosts quartet of KHS seniors

Kingfisher High School seniors Morgan Snowden, Silvia Garcia, Tiffany Crawford and Madeline Loosen were guests at a recent Kingfisher Rotary Club meeting.

Snowden is the daughter of Mark and Karen Snowden.

She’s active in FCCLA, Business Professionals of America and Mercy Student Careers Council.

She’s the secretary of the National Honor Society, a class valedictorian, a member of Oklahoma Honor Society, has been named to the superintendent’s honor roll and been awarded Student of the Month and the Academic Award.

Snowden plans to attend Southwestern Oklahoma State University and major in accounting with the career goal of becoming a CPA.

Garcia is the daughter of Miguel and Catalina Garcia.

She’s a member of student council, National Honor Society, Oklahoma Honor Society, BPA, Spanish Club and yearbook.

She’s been listed on the superintendent’s honor roll, principal’s honor roll and earned the 4-Point Award and Academic Excellence Award.

Garcia plans to attend the University of Central Oklahoma, major in legal studies and plans to become a lawyer.

Crawford is the daughter of James and Iris Crawford.

She’s active in drama, speech, debate, yearbook, accounting, BPA and Family and Consumer Science.

Loosen is the daughter of Marette and Jeff Forman and Clay Loosen.

She’s been active in track, cross country, cheer, FCA, student council and Mercy Student Careers Council and is currently the senior class president.

Loosen was the 2017 Class 4A state champion in the 800 meter run, earned four medals at the 2019 4A state track meet and was a member of the 2018 Class 4A state championship cross country team, among a host of other athletic honors.

She was also a 2019 academic all-state selection in cheer.

Loosen said she currently plans to attend Oklahoma State University and major in physiology before attending medical school.
