Rotary Club welcomes 5 KHS seniors

Kingfisher High School seniors Blake Neal, Karter Webster, Caden Hill, Ashton Wensman and Kyle Fahlenkamp were guests last week of the Kingfisher Rotary Club.

Fahlenkamp is the son of Kyle Fahlenkamp and Tiffany Farrar.

He’s active football, track and FFA.

He’s been listed on the principal’s honor roll, nominated to the National Honor Society and was named KHS Student of the Month.

He plans to attend Oklahoma State University and eventually own his own business.

Wensman is the son of Chrissy Gibson and Klaas Oud.

He’s active in photography and won first place in the 2019 Oklahoma Camera Club Youth Photo Contest along with other placings in the contest.

Wensman has enlisted in the U.S. Army and leaves for basic training July 6. He said he plans to spend at least 10 years in the military and eventually pursue a career in anti- or counter-terrorism.

Hill is the son of Jeremie and Crystal Hill.

He’s active in golf and photography.

He plans to attend college and study computer science after high school.

Webster is the son of Leonard Webster and Misty Harrington.

He’s active in drama.

Webster plans to attend CareerTech and work toward a career as a mechanical engineer.

Neal is the son of Dustin and Kim Neal.

He’s active in wrestling and was a state qualifier as a junior.

Neal was named the KHS wrestling homecoming captain last week.

He said he hopes to wrestle collegiately. If not, he said he will pursue a career as a welding inspector.
