Rotary hears OSU upgrades

By

Matt Grantham, assistant athletic director at Oklahoma State University, left, was the guest speaker of the Kingfisher Rotary Club last week. He told Rotarians and guests that the unprecedented upswing in athletic donations to OSU over the past several years was allowing for a new state-of-the-art baseball park to be built, which will be one of the finest in the nation when complete in the spring of 2020. He said plans are being made for a new softball facility as well, with attendance for OSU softball at an all-time high last year when the Cowgirls went to the Womens College World Series for the first time since 2011. He said plans were also in the works for an upgraded wrestling facility as well. Grantham was raised in Duncan and is a 2002 graduate of OSU. He was introduced by Rotarian John Johnson, right.
