Rotary hosts 2 KHS seniors

Kingfisher High School seniors Dejanna Harjo and Mackenzie Holmes were guests recently of the Kingfisher Rotary Club.

Harjo is the daughter of Desirae Horse and Daniel Harjo.

She’s active in track, the academic team, Native American Club and Spanish Club.

Harjo plans to enter the estheticians program at Central Oklahoma College in Oklahoma City after high school.

Holmes is the daughter of Chris and Henry Holmes.

She’s currently the chief editor of the KHS newspaper, a wrestling manager and has also participated in photography, drama, FACS, chorus, academic team and Dead Poets Society.

Holmes plans to attend Redlands Community College after high school and later Oklahoma State University to pursue a bachelor’s degree in psychology.

She plans to pursue a career in psychotherapy.
