Rotary hosts trio of KHS seniors
Kingfisher High School seniors Brooklyn Whipple, Aubrey Deatherage and Baleigh Brickman were guests last Tuesday of the Kingfisher Rotary Club.
Whipple is the daughter of Jay and Shavone Whipple.
She’s active in basketball, soccer, tennis, FFA, FCA and the Mercy Student Governing Board.
Whipple is the senior class secretary and has been inducted into National Honor Society. She was also a Oklahoma Girls State delegate, has been listed on the superintendent’s honor roll and was a state qualifier in tennis.
Whipple plans to attend Oklahoma State University and major in business.
Deatherage is the daughter of Ryan and Jill Deatherage.
She’s active in cheer-leading, student council and is a member of the National Honor Society and Oklahoma Honor Society.
Deatherage is a cheer captain, has earned the 4.0 Award, is a class valedictorian, listed on the superintendent’s honor roll and was the 2018 homecoming queen.
She also plans to attend OSU and will major in human and nutritional sciences and become a physical therapist.
Brickman is the daughter of Bart and Kristi Brickman.
She’s active in cheer-leading, student council, FCA and has also been named to the National Honor Society and Oklahoma Honor Society.
She’s the senior class vice president, has earned the 4.0 Award and is on the superintendent’s honor roll.
Brickman also plans to attend OSU and major in nutritional sciences with the career goal of becoming a physician’s assistant.
