ROTARY SPEAKER – Kristi Hatfield of Weatherford, right, area membership sales manager for Air Evac Lifeteam, was the guest speaker at Kingfisher Rotary Club last week. Air Evac is part of AirMedCare Network, which owns and operates the medical emergency helicopter and employs the pilots and nurses who operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week out of Mercy Hospital Kingfisher. She said the parent company operates and serves all 50 states. She said Kingfisher now has a larger helicopter that will accommodate a parent on the flight to Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City if a child is injured. Hatfield invited all interested persons to stop by the Air Evac facility located on the hospital grounds for a tour of the new helicopter.
