Kingfisher High School seniors Gracie Rowan and Cooper Young were named the Junior Lions for November 2025.

The two visited a pair of meetings last month as guests of the Kingfisher Lions Club.

Rowan is the daughter of Jeremy and Melinda Rowan.

She has been named to the Superintendent’s Honor Roll, has earned the 4.0 Award, was honored as Student of the Month and won a number of subject awards.

Rowan was inducted into the National Honor Society and is also a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

She participated in softball for three years and track for two years.

Rowan plans to attend Oklahoma Baptist University or Liberty University and major in global marketplace engagement with an emphasis on business.

She plans to be a missionary.

Young is the son of Jeremy and Michelle Young.

He is active in golf and Student Council for which he serves as senior class vice president.

Young has also been inducted into the National Honor Society and was an Oklahoma Boys State delegate.

He plans to attend Oklahoma Christian University and major in computer science and pursue a career in computer programming or in the AI field.
