Two county schoolboard races had developed as of noon Tuesday, with filing closing at 5 p.m. Wednesday.

For Kingfisher’s board, incumbent Mike Copeland has filed for re-election, along with Terry Payne, local pastor and former school administrator.

For Cashion’s board, Chuck Kordis and Christopher Gibson have filed.

Other candidates so far include Jarrod J. Mueggenborg for Okarche, Terry Marks for Lomega and Debbie Biehler, incumbent, for Chisholm Trail Technology Center.
