Larry Heald of Okarche dropped by the Times and Free Press office Monday, renewing longtime friendships along with his newspaper subscription. Heald worked at the Kingfisher Post Office for 25 years and is remembered for his helpfulness and cheerfulness. He has recently recovered after a case of COVID-19.

District 2 County Commissioner Ray Shimanek expects to make quick work of repairing county roads after recent snows. He says the key is to get the snow off quickly.
