Kingfisher High School seniors Emma Wood and Emily Garrett were guests at a recent meeting of the Kingfisher Rotary Club.

Wood is the daughter of Jay and Libby Wood.

She’s been active in basketball, FCA, FCCLA and is the senior class representative for student council.

She’s also served as a class reporter, secretary and was the junior class president.

Wood has earned the 4.0 Award, Student of the Month, National Honor Society, was listed on superintendent’s honor roll and is a class valedictorian.

She plans to attend Oklahoma State and pursue a career in elementary education.

Garrett is the daughter of Greg and Sara Garrett.

She’s active in FFA, student council and cheer-leading.

She’s the student body president, National Honor Society president and FFA vice president.

Garrett is a three-time FFA national silver medalist, eight-time FFA state champion, earned the KHS Meritorious Achievement Medal and the FFA Academic Excellence award.

She plans to attend OSU and major in agricultural communications.
