Sexual assault alleged at hotel site

By

A Pocasset man pleaded not guilty to a charge he sexually assaulted another worker on the Kingfisher hotel construction site March 28.

Martin Wayne Bradley, 40, was charged in Kingfisher County District Court with sexual battery April 1.

He was released April 5 on $40,000 bond and is scheduled to return to court at 1:30 p.m. May 28.

Bradley is alleged to have assaulted an 18-year-old woman on the site of the Holiday Inn Express and Suites construction project.

At the time, Bradley was employed for a subcontractor working on the hotel and the victim was an employee of another subcontractor, according to an affidavit signed by Kingfisher Police Capt. Travis Gray, investigating officer.

The woman told police that Bradley pulled her into the elevator shaft and placed his hands under her clothing, according to the affidavit.

If convicted, Bradley faces up to 10 years in prison, according to court documents.
