Kingfisher High School seniors Mia Farrell, Zoey Evans and Kase Simon were announced as the Junior Lions for February 2021.

The trio attended the civic group’s meeting last week.

Farrell is the daughter of Scott and Stephanie Farrell.

She’s active in fastpitch and slowpitch softball, tennis and is the senior class reporter.

Farrell has been named to the National Honor Society, Oklahoma Honor Society and earned a number of softball honors and awards.

She was also named the school’s Heisman High School winner.

Farrell will attend Southwestern Christian University on a softball scholarship and plans to earn a degree in pastoral ministries.

Evans is the daughter of Austin and Cody Evans.

She’s active in cross country, track and FCA.

Evans was a member of the 2018 Class 4A state championship cross country team and the 2020 team that took third.

She’s earned numerous honors in the sport and is also a member of the Oklahoma Honor Society.

Evans plans to attend the University of Oklahoma and major in accounting.

Simon is the son of Chris and Michele Simon.

His high school activities have included Student Council, tennis, basketball and cross country.

He has served as STUCO secretary and vice president.

His honors include National Honor Society, Oklahoma Honor Society, KHS Student of the Month, superintendent’s honor roll and principal’s honor roll.

Simon plans to attend Oklahoma State University and major in physical therapy.
