Slezickey earns ICMA credentials

By

Kingfisher City Manager Dave Slezickey recently received the credentialed manager designation from the International City/County Management Association.

Slezickey, who is completing his eighth year as Kingfisher’s city manager this spring, is one of only nine active municipal or county administrators credentialed by the association.

ICMA is a voluntary credentialing program intended to advance local government by increasing the proficiency of its administrative officers and other employees.

Slezickey qualified for the national credentials based on an excess of 10 years of local government executive experience and significant contributions of service in a number of other organizations, including the Oklahoma Municipal Power Authority, City Managers Association of Oklahoma, Oklahoma Municipal League and Municipal Electric Systems of Oklahoma.

He and his wife Melissa, a middle school counselor, live in Kingfisher with their two children, Cash, a freshman at Kingfisher High School, and Mattie, a sixth grader.
